Tin Rooster Returns with Epic Drink Specials
Tin Rooster is back after 20 months of closure due to Covid-19, and the lively venue at the heart of Turning Stone Resort Casino’s Exit 33 entertainment district is celebrating its return with a fresh lineup of live music and a trio of mouth-watering drink specials.
According to Nightlife Manager Shawnna Popluhar, the drinks are designed to be simple but delicious—a perfect “welcome back” for guests after the lengthy hiatus.
“We’re just so happy to be back in action,” she said. “The drinks are our way of saying, ‘Cheers!’”
The first of the drinks, the Summertime Blues, has been on the Tin Rooster menu for years, and is without question a fan favorite. It comprises Western Son Blueberry Vodka, lemon juice, agave syrup, blueberry preserves, and Sierra Mist for a little spritz.
Shawnna said this is one of the best-selling Tin Rooster drinks of all time, and noted that most guests are passionate about their love for it.
“People come in here and talk about this drink like it’s the best thing they’ve ever had in their lives,” she joked. “I think if we ever tried to take it off the menu—even for a little while—our regular guests would have a fit.”
The second drink, the Tin Rooster Spiked Tea, is a play on an Arnold Palmer, with Deep Eddy Peach Tea vodka, lemonade, and Tin Rooster’s signature (and house-made) smoked sweet tea. The sweet tea in the drink is the same beverage that Tin Rooster regulars love to order with food when the venue is serving its full menu. As of press time, the kitchen had not reopened.
The final drink, the Blue Chair Bay, features Blue Chair Coconut Rum, Blue Chair Banana Rum, ginger beer, and lemon juice.
Shawnna said all three drinks are available every night Tin Rooster is open. She added that the venue continues to offer a full bar with a variety of craft spirits (including new organic flavored vodkas from Frankly) and several different beers on tap.
