Upgraded Showroom Showing Off
The Showroom at Turning Stone Resort Casino is officially back and better than ever before.
Following a 9-month renovation and upgrade, The Showroom reopened earlier this month with two weekends of concerts. Early reports indicate guests are loving the new vibe.
Technically, The Showroom opened on August 31 with an exclusive, employees-only concert from Upstate New York-favorite Gridley Paige. At this kickoff, Oneida Indian Nation Representative Ray Halbritter told the crowd it was an “exciting day” and a milestone event.
“We wanted our first show to be for employees since it is truly because of all of you that we are in a position to reopen the Showroom and bring entertainment back to life at Turning Stone,” Mr. Halbritter told the crowd. “We are thrilled to be able to welcome back so many of our entertainment staff, and we are grateful to all of our employees who have worked tirelessly to get the Showroom reopened.”
There’s no question The Showroom is turning heads.
The new space is a stunning, contemporary event venue that is in the same league as the best concert halls in the country.
There are 650 premium theater-style seats. As part of the renovation, Turning Stone actually removed a few seats to allow for wider aisles, bigger seats, and a more intimate experience. There’s a new state-of-the-art sound system. There’s also a completely new entrance and atrium with a new bar.
Looking forward, the next big concert at The Showroom is George Thorogood & The Destroyers on September 26. The Marshall Tucker Band and Ronnie Millsap come in next month, with Jordan Davis and Skid Row on the calendar for early November.
