5 Reasons to Visit Turning Stone in Fall

Every season is an event at Turning Stone Resort Casino. With special tasting menus and picturesque vistas of foliage, autumn might be the most glorious of them all. Here, then, in no particular order, are five reasons to visit Turning Stone this fall:

Reason 1: The leaf-peeping! Right around this time every year, the trees of Upstate New York burst into brilliant reds, oranges, and yellows as leaves end their year in dramatic fashion. No matter where you’re coming from, the drive into Verona is spectacular. Once you’re on property at Turning Stone Resort Casino, be sure to head to TS Steakhouse for a view of the multicolored foliage from above.

Reason 2: The menus! Fall flavors are popping up on menus all over the resort. At Upstate Tavern, for instance, you’ll find a new boozy milkshake for Halloween (see story below). At Emerald, pumpkin pie is a fixture on the menu through Thanksgiving. Add to the mix butternut squash ravioli at Pino Bianco and nutmeg chai lattes at Opals and there’s no shortage of fall food fun.

Reason 3: The swag! As the weather gets chilly outside, stores and boutiques in The Commons are jam-packed with hoodies and sweatshirts to keep you warm. Especially at our newest outlet, Mr. Shop, you’ll find plenty of cozy options. Many of these items are adorned with the Turning Stone Resort Casino logo. Wearing them might make you feel like part of an exclusive club.

Reason 4: The excitement! Longer nights are full of action at Turning Stone Resort Casino. Our entertainment lineup for the coming weeks includes The Marshall Tucker Band in The Showroom on October 17, Old Dominion at the Event Center on October 21-22, and Ryan Quinn at Motif Bar & Lounge on October 30. Check turningstone.com/entertainment for tickets and more information.

Reason 5: The decorations! The team at Turning Stone goes above and beyond with decorations to celebrate the seasons every year. This year, you’ll find festive touches around every turn, including pounds of pumpkins near the front door and giant leaves suspended from the ceiling in the main entryway of the resort. See how many fall decorations you can spot the next time you come by.

Oh, and if you can’t figure out a way to get to Turning Stone Resort Casino before the official start of winter, don’t worry—that season is great here, too.
