Special Menus Turn Bars into New Restaurants

It’s no secret that Turning Stone Resort Casino boasts some of the best restaurants in all of Central New York. What guests may not know is that they can enjoy a variety of restaurant-quality food choices at three of our restaurant bars: The Lounge at TS Steakhouse, The Lodge Bar, part of Wildflowers restaurant, and Bar Pino at Pino Bianco.

Each bar offers a different take on its corresponding restaurant menu. Each provides a great venue for people who want a less formal experience or for guests traveling and dining alone.

At The Lounge at TS Steakhouse, for instance, guests can select any item from the regular TS Steakhouse menu. With a sweeping view of the entire region, bartenders and TS Steakhouse servers team up to manage the bar tables, making guests feel just as special as they would feel if they were dining in the main dining room.

Fan favorites include the TS Steakhouse shrimp cocktail with four giant shrimp, Caesar salad, and, of course, steak.

Guests can choose from the full complement of sides as well, including creamed spinach, Brussels sprouts prepared with a sweet honey glaze, and baked or mashed potatoes loaded with cheese, bacon, sour cream, and chives.

At The Lodge Bar, in The Lodge, the menu pulls items from Wildflowers restaurant.

All food is prepared in the Wildflowers kitchen by Chef de Cuisine Joseph Kolo and his team. Regular guests swear by the hamburger, saying it’s one of the best burgers at the entire resort. The hummus plate is a popular bar choice, too—it comes with feta cheese, roasted red peppers, olives, artichoke hearts, and toasted pita-like bread.

Bar Pino, located behind Pino Bianco, offers select items from the main restaurant, including fried calamari, the (giant) baked meatball, and a small antipasto plate that includes salumi, prosciutto di Parma, smoked ricotta, and more.

There also are salads and four different pizzas on the menu at Bar Pino.

Of course, at all three destinations, bar-top dining is enhanced by tasty cocktails, local beer, or wine. Be sure to indulge the next time you’re at Turning Stone and looking to try something different.
