The band that put rockabilly back on the charts is hitting The Event Center Saturday, November 8 at 8pm! With a striking ’50s-inspired style exaggerated by pompadours and tattoos – not to mention some serious musical chops – The Stray Cats evoked and updated the best of the genre’s heyday. Formed by Brian Setzer, Lee Rocker and Slim Jim Phantom on Long Island in 1979, the trio clawed their way to London and kicked off a global revival. Their massive hits include “Runaway Boys,” “Stray Cat Strut” and “I Won’t Stand in Your Way.”
