Dinner Menu

There’s a saying among pitmasters that “you can’t rush a rib.” That’s because with barbeque, beef and pork cooked low and slow over indirect heat for longer periods, from 6-7 hours for fall-off-the-bone ribs and 9-12 hours for tender brisket. The wait is worth it, with flavors from natural hardwoods and our signature rubs and spices bringing out a beautiful depth of flavor.

That same amount of care goes into our scratch-made appetizers and sides, with our own homemade mustard for our potato salad, fried pickle chips from pickles we make in-house, some wickedly wonderful Deviled eggs with house-smoked bacon and more. You’ll also find a 12-oz. New York Strip Pitmaster Steak, a 28-oz T-Bone Steak, fresh fish, sandwiches and southwest style tacos.

About our BBQ

Meats, sauces and spices that are a cut above the rest

At Tin Rooster Honky Tonk, our secret recipe for our barbeque rub is made up of 24 ingredients, with spices we harvest, roast, toast or smoke ourselves whenever possible. We also make our own mustard, pickles and BBQ sauce in-house. In our three world-class smokers, we use the traditional hickory and oak to bring out the flavor of meats cooked low and slow to infuse them with flavor. Because when you’re as passionate about something like our pitmasters and chefs are about great barbeque, you go to great lengths to do things right.

Tin Rooster Honky Tonk is located at New York’s most awarded resort, Turning Stone Resort Casino, home to more than 20 unique restaurants. This popular country bar and barbeque restaurant is in the heart of Central New York, about 35 minutes east of Syracuse, 25 minutes west of Utica and 15 minutes southwest of Rome. Valet parking is available at The Tower at Turning Stone, The Brook at Turning Stone and The Lodge at Turning Stone, along with plenty of free parking at a four-level parking garage next to The Event Center.
