All Three of Turning StoneÂÂ’s 18-Hole Championship Level Golf Courses Named to GolfweekÂÂ’s Top 15 Courses in New York State

Just in time for the official launch of Turning Stone’s golf season, Golfweek Magazine has hailed three of the resort’s courses among the 15 best in the State of New York on its “Best Golf Courses You Can Play in Every State” list

As Turning Stone’s Atunyote prepares to open tomorrow, marking the official start of the 2017 golf season at Turning Stone, more prestigious accolades continue to roll in for the resort’s world-class courses. Turning Stone has taken three of the limited fifteen slots on Golfweek Magazine’s “Best Golf Courses You Can Play in Every State” for New York in 2017.

Both Atunyote and Kaluhyat are once again featured on the premier list after several years running, and Shenendoah is included for the first time since its highly-anticipated redesign by the renowned, and original course architect, Rick Smith last fall.

“It makes for a perfect start to the 2017 golf season to have three of our incredible courses ranked in the top 15 for all of New York State,” said Miles Blundell, Director of Turning Stone Golf Operations and PGA Master Professional. “We are excited to welcome this year’s guests with first-class service, and look forward to yet another great year of golf at Turning Stone.”

This latest Golfweek recognition comes just weeks after Turning Stone’s courses were honored with Golf Digest’s Editors’ Choice Award for Best Travel in 2017. The resort’s celebrated courses have won dozens of elite awards over the years, and hosted a number of professional events including the B.C. Open, the Turning Stone Resort Championship, a PGA Tour event, and most recently, the 2016 PGA Professional Championship.

Beyond golf, the vast 3,400-acre complex features award-winning hotels, two spas, and more than 20 restaurants. Its wide variety of entertainment options include an all-new 125,000-square foot gaming floor and Exit 33, a $25 million multi-venue entertainment and nightlife complex. Welcoming more than 4.5 million guests per year, Turning Stone is the only resort in New York State to hold two honorable distinctions - three AAA Four Diamond Venues at one property and three Four Star Ratings from Forbes Travel Guide at one property.
