### Turning Stone to Host First-Ever Hofmann Sausage Shootout; Free Golf Competition: Win a Grill and Summer Supply of Hofmann Hotdogs
**Free Golf Competition: Grand Prize is a New Weber Grill and a Summer Supply of Hofmann’s Hotdogs**
Two iconic Central New York companies are combining two popular summer activities, golf and Hofmann hotdogs, to host the “Hofmann Sausage Shootout” at Turning Stone’s Sandstone Hollow. The backyard barbecue-style event is a closest to the pin golf competition that is open to the public and free to participate. Grand prize winner will take home a brand new Weber gas grill and a cooler stocked with a summer supply of Hofmann hotdogs and sausages.
Two of Central New York’s most prominent companies, Turning Stone and Hofmann Sausages, are teaming up to host the “Hofmann Sausage Shootout,” a fun closest to the pin golf competition on Saturday, June 22 at Sandstone Hollow. Combining two favorite summer pastimes, golf and hotdogs, the backyard barbeque-style event is open to the public and completely free to participate, with a grand prize of a brand new Weber gas grill, a cooler stocked with a summer supply of Hofmann hotdogs, and a Hofmann grill set. Second and third place prizes include a free round of golf at Turning Stone and a Hofmann grill set, and all golfers who make it to the green will win a complimentary dessert at Turning Stone’s Upstate Tavern (with qualifying purchase).
The event will be held at Turning Stone’s nine-hole Par 3 course Sandstone Hollow between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., with registration beginning at 9:45 a.m. at the golf course. Interested guests can signup today to receive event updates HERE. Designed by Rick Smith, Sandstone Hollow is rated among the Top 25 Par 3 courses in the country by Golf Event magazine.
The backyard barbecue-style event will feature free samples of a variety of Hofmann products, lawn games including cornhole and a putting green, music and more.
Turning Stone offers year-round award-winning golf with three 18-hole championship-level courses, two nine-hole courses, an indoor Golf Dome featuring a state-of-the-art short game area and 40 hitting stations, and a Golf Superstore that has been recognized as one of the top-rated pro-shops.
