Forbes Travel Guide rates properties in more than 73 different countries throughout the Americas, Europe, Asia-Pacific, Africa, and the Middle East. With only 592 hotels, 142 restaurants and 212 spas in the world to achieve a Four-Star rating, Turning Stone continues to be distinguished as one of the most elite properties found anywhere around the globe.
“It is a tremendous honor to have four of our properties exceed the rigorous evaluations by the world’s most prominent and respected name in luxury travel," said Oneida Indian Nation Representative and Nation Enterprises CEO Ray Halbritter. “The Forbes Travel Guide Four Star rating is the gold standard in hospitality, and these awards demonstrate our amenities, employees and the guest service are worthy of the highest recognition.”
To determine its Star Award winners, Forbes Travel Guide’s highly trained inspectors anonymously visit every property they rate, evaluating each based on up to 900 rigorous and objective criteria and enabling guests to make the best, most informed travel and leisure choices. The only independent, global rating system for luxury hotels, restaurants and spas, Forbes has been verifying luxury since 1958.
“It’s a privilege for Forbes Travel Guide to honor such magnificent hotels, restaurants and spas from all corners of the globe. Each deserving recipient excels at enriching people’s lives through the power of exceptional service,” said Filip Boyen, CEO of Forbes Travel Guide. “Our role at Forbes Travel Guide is to establish our annual star ratings with absolute independence and integrity and champion those at the very top of their game.”
