Turning StoneÂ’s New Restaurant 7 Kitchens to Begin Hiring for Nearly 100 Positions Ahead of Spring Grand Opening

7 Kitchens, a completely reimagined market-style restaurant that will redefine the traditional buffet dining experience, is set to open in April 2022. In advance of the highly-anticipated grand opening, Turning Stone will begin hiring for a range of full- and part-time positions, including chefs, cooks, bartenders, hosts, cashiers and servers.

Culinary positions offer a starting pay of $17-$20 an hour, plus a $1,000 sign-on bonus. 

Oneida Indian Nation Homelands (January 5, 2021) – In preparation of the highly-anticipated April opening of 7 Kitchens, a new restaurant that will redefine the traditional buffet experience, Turning Stone announced today it will begin hiring for its grand opening team. Upstate New York’s premier destination resort is hiring nearly 100 employees to fill a variety of full- and part-time positions including chefs, cooks, bartenders, hosts, cashiers, servers and porters. 

Culinary positions offer entry-level employees a starting pay of $17-$20 an hour, plus a $1,000 sign-on bonus. Additionally, many positions offer generous healthcare and 401(k) benefits. 

Candidates hired will receive on the job training alongside Turning Stone’s award-winning team, including Executive Chef Ron Ross and 7 Kitchens Chef de Cuisine Dustin Tuthill. Chef Tuthill, a 17 year employee, began his culinary career making fudge at Turning Stone’s Opals Confectionery, which inspired him to enroll in culinary school. Upon graduation, he started as an entry-level cook at Wildflowers and worked his way up to the lead culinary position at the restaurant, Chef de Cuisine. Tuthill was most recently Chef de Cuisine at Upstate Tavern before being named to the lead position for 7 Kitchens.

The menu will introduce guests to a completely new culinary concept that redefines the traditional buffet experience. 7 Kitchens will be a market-style restaurant featuring a variety of quality artisan food that includes Italian, Seafood, Asian, The Carvery, The Grill, a Taco Bar and The Bakery. 7 Kitchen’s contemporary design will offer seating for more than 375 guests, making it Turning Stone’s largest restaurant.
