Q. Can I hire my own wedding planner?
A. Absolutely. That said, we invite you to meet with one of ours, and bring your planner to the meeting. Being an all-encompassing destination, we have many members of an experienced team already in place to help put together a flawless event.
Q. My fiancé would like to arrive to the baraat on horseback. Is that possible?
A. We do allow Baraats to be on a horse at certain locations with all required approvals. Your wedding planner will discuss all available options with you.
Q. What happens in the event of rain or snow?
A. With more than 3400 acres, every major event with an outdoor component has a contingency plan should all or part of the event need to be moved indoors.
Q. How far is Turning Stone from major airports?
A. Turning Stone is located in Central New York off the I-90 NYS Thruway. It is about 30 minutes from Syracuse, under two hours from Rochester or Albany, around three hours from Buffalo or Hartford, and about four hours from Boston, New York City or Philadelphia. We offer complimentary car service from major airports to our resort.
