Incredible Entertainment Lineup Kickstarts The Next 30

Turning Stone Resort Casino is kicking off its 30th anniversary celebration called “The Next 30” with some big news about big stars coming in to help us celebrate in style.

Among the headliners scheduled: Kevin Hart, Tim McGraw, Steve Martin, Martin Short, and others.

Kevin Hart’s award-winning “Reality Check” show will kick-off Turning Stone’s 30th anniversary celebration on May 14. Tickets go on sale this week and are expected to go fast.

The McGraw concert—scheduled for the Event Center on July 2—has special meaning here at the Turning Stone. The country music sensation (and son of former Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Tug McGraw) helped us open the Event Center back on Dec. 2, 2004, to a sell-out crowd.

Ray Halbritter, Oneida Indian Nation Representative and CEO of Oneida Nation Enterprises, said the concerts highlight a celebration worthy of our milestone anniversary.

“This big day warrants a historic lineup of entertainment for our guests and the people of Upstate New York,” said Mr. Halbritter. “Kevin Hart, Steve Martin and Martin Short are comedic legends of our time. Tim McGraw was the first-ever performer in the Event Center, so it’s only fitting he will join us again as we kickoff our ‘Next 30’ celebration. This is a really big deal.”

The Martin and Short event is sure to trigger knee-slapping laughter, and is slated for November 12.

Of course, we’ll be celebrating our 30th anniversary all year long, and we’ll be rolling out anniversary news, including additional concert and show announcements, over the next 30 days (see what we did there?).

Other shows announced previously that are part of the “Next 30” anniversary celebration include Tom Jones on May 26, Jake Owen on Aug. 6, and Dan & Shay Aug. 12.

In addition to entertainment happenings, we’ll commemorate our big birthday with other special shindigs including over-the-top gaming promotions, food and beverage specials and more. As we look forward to the next 30 years, we envision hosting many more celebrations. These events are a great way to share the beauty of Upstate New York with the world.

With gigs like these, it’s sure to be a happy birthday, indeed.
